Today
we flew to KLOM – Philadelphia Wings Field for the fly-in. Angel
Flight East hosted this community airport event for the whole
family, featuring cars and planes vintage and antique, classic and unique.
The fundraiser was for a great cause.
Low
clouds and forecast of severe storms in the late afternoon but it was a great
day and we headed back before the sky’s let loose.
I took
my plane over to display at the foundation where the students are building an
RV12. They wanted a built RV12 to show next to the one they are building. They
are well into the project and she looks , I am sure she will fly in the next 3
-4 months.
The Fly-in has both airplanes and some very nice cars on display. They were expecting about 1500 people at the event.
Leaving Wings field- Photo emailed to me by Mike S from his iPhone (Smoke On for the crowd).
We made it back about 2:00 and the weather gave way about 40 min later :)
